Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Z
thingiverse
Human: Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Z with a sword in it from the official logo, now that you know this works, I'll be uploading the full logo shortly. The Z is an enormous model, so unless you have a gigantic printer, it will likely need to be scaled down to fit on your printer. This is a work in progress, and right now the model prints just fine, but the TriForce logo, detailing in the pommel of the sword, and cross guard jewel are not currently attached to anything, so when you take it off of the print bed, they don't stay with the main model. This will be fixed shortly. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 20% Notes: Print with thicker than normal outside walls, I used a 1mm wall setting and it worked just fine. If you print with a raft, the internal details of the sword will stay in place. I was playing Breath of the Wild when my friend texted me that they thought it would be cool to 3D print the logo from the game. So I put down my Switch and made it happen. I started with just the Z so I'd have a smaller thing to work with, found a picture of it, brought it into Illustrator, edited what I wanted, and then brought it into Inkscape. From there, I turned it into a vector, exported the face of the vector as a DXF, and then brought it into Inventor where I extruded it into a 3D object.
