This shelf serves as a convenient storage space for my receiver and/or associated video components at my ground station for FPV use, although its versatility allows it to be utilized for various purposes. It was specifically designed with a Sony Tripod in mind but could likely accommodate multiple brands. To assemble this shelf, you'll need a 5mm heat set nut and a 5mm thumbscrew, which are essential for securely fastening the shelf onto the tripod leg. This shelf possesses remarkable strength, and its design effectively combats sliding down the tripod leg when weight is applied. The more weight you add, the greater the resistance becomes, particularly if it's centered towards the outer end of the shelf.
