This is a leveling device for square steel tubing measuring one inch on each side. Designed specifically for use with a 1/4x20 adjustable leveler, it features a captive 1/4x20 nut. To embed the nut, utilize the preview feature in your slicer to determine the final layer printed before the nut is covered. Following this, create a g-code file from your slicer and insert a pause in the file to allow for the insertion of the nut. Resume printing immediately after. For my setup, this pause occurred at layer 43. I am using an Ender 5 with a Marlin-based controller, so my insert looked like this: ; Layer:43 ; move print head G0 X10 Y10 ; pause M0 In an abundance of caution, I printed the device at 50% infill and 4-line wall thickness to prevent layer separation under load.
