My wife had to make lamp-shaped cookies for a "A Christmas Story" themed work party. She found a great solution with a lamp design! Modeled in Morphi, this creation turned out amazing. Printed at a coarse layer height of .3, 100% infill, and as you can see we had an iterative process to perfect the design. The heel of the shoe could be better defined for cookie dough interaction. I also noticed that other Thingiverse cookie cutters have better handles. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3 mm layer Infill: 100% Notes: My wife discovered that scaling of 500% in X and Y, and Z at 200% were the perfect settings for our cookie baking process. Post-Printing: We used Alumilite's Amazing Clear Coat to make it FDA compliant. If you want to use it for edible cookies, please coat it with this product. How I Designed This: I used the Morphi app on my iPad to create this design. It's my go-to app for modeling while being a couch potato. I imported an image from Google of a leglamp and modified the sketch tool in Morphi to make the heel bigger for better cookie dough interaction. Next time, I'll make sure to make the upside-down V area bigger/coarser.
