To resolve an issue with my filament popping free from the tip when mounted on the left of my TOM, I printed and installed TechShopJim's Official TechShop Filament Guide (Thing # 16499) and mirrored it. This simple fix resulted in trouble-free feeding. Simply follow these steps: print the guide, bolt it to your MakerBot using two machine screws and nuts, then snap the filament through the slot in the side of the guide channel for a seamless experience.
