Left Shark

Because designers aren't abiding by creative licenses, giving credit, or selling for profit without being threatened, I'm deleting my 3D models and stamping the remaining ones. Unless Thingiverse starts taking legal action or protecting designers, this seems like the only solution. Sorry to say, but people need to learn. You can follow more of my work at politicalsculptor.com or mstyle183's Instagram page for new Left Shark merchandise, including T-shirts, iPhone cases, coffee mugs, and pillows. Please use #3DLeftShark when discussing this model or posting pictures of it to raise awareness. As of March 3rd, I have created three new color print designs that are available on Shapeways.com. My favorite design can be seen on a T-shirt at Redbubble.com, but Katy Perry's law firm has tried to shut me down again, so be cautious. Since February 21st, Shapeways has reinstated my Color-Printed Left Shark, and I'm excited to offer it to everyone again! Please support the #3DLeftShark campaign on Facebook or by visiting politicalsculptor.blogspot.com for more information. If you're wondering about the story behind this Left Shark, Katy Perry's law firm has attempted to trademark Basking Shark as part of their attempt to stop me from selling my 3D printed figurine. But I'm not giving up! In order to continue creating and fighting against this copyright issue, I need your help! Please read more about the case on politicalsculptor.blogspot.com, especially if you're thinking about selling these 3D prints without legal representation. I'd like to thank those who have supported me so far by donating to my Legal Fund Campaign or following me on Twitter and Instagram. Together, we can make a difference! Update: My lawyer has responded to Katy Perry's law firm, and the whole story is available on politicalsculptor.blogspot.com. It seems they're trying to trademark Basking Shark as part of their cease-and-desist order. If you haven't seen it already, check out my T-shirt design at Redbubble.com, featuring a shark with a 'Cease and Desist' sign around its neck. Since I'm resuming the sale of the color version of this figurine on Etsy and my website as soon as possible, I appreciate your support in helping me cover legal fees. You can visit my Facebook page or follow me on Twitter for updates on the case. Thanks again for all the support!
