Lee Value 4-Hole Turret Primer Shield v2.0
thingiverse
This is a revision of the Primer Catch/Shield for the Lee 4-Hole Value Turret Press I previously designed. It's purpose is to redirect spent primers back into the hole designed to catch them, as well as providing a light source for the working area. I designed this to be a snap fit, which then rides loosely on two of the support uprights. It's geometry has changed from the previous version. The light used is the cheap Harbor Freight LED Mini Flashlight found in one of the two links below. However, any flashlight with a 25mm diameter should be able to work with this part. Parts Needed: Printed Shield Harbor Freight LED Mini Flashlight M3 Screw and Nut Links for compatible flashlights https://www.harborfreight.com/2-piece-3-12-in-led-mini-flashlight-63600.html https://www.harborfreight.com/3-12-in-led-mini-flashlight-63599.html In my personal press setup I have a hole drilled underneath the press with a printed funnel to soda bottle cap adapter that is used to catch spent primers in 20oz or 2L soda bottles. This shield prevents primers from randomly flying wherever they go, and instead makes sure they go down into the holes to be collected in the soda bottle. It works well for me, but if it isn't for you, no worries.
