When reloading, I prefer to use my left hand to prime while operating the press with my right hand. However, Lee does not offer a left-handed mount for the Lee Safety Prime, so I created my own. The design also rotates towards the rear, providing ample space in the press for placing cases without interfering with the priming tool. This custom mount is exclusive to the Lee Classic Cast press due to its specific requirements for alignment via rotation of the shellholder insert. As a result, it's essential to adjust your dies to compensate for the altered shell holder height. A rubber band proves to be an excellent substitute for the original plastic return spring tab. Version 2 offers an updated design that is more streamlined and visually appealing while maintaining the same functionality as its predecessor.
