Lee's Vortex 285 combined battery saver and antenna mount
thingiverse
This is a combined antenna mount and battery protector for the ImmersionRC Vortex 285. It safeguards your battery against propeller strikes when the front arms fold back after a crash or collision. You will need one for each side of the drone. To secure these onto the frame, use the longer M2 self-tapping screws from your crash kit. I use this setup with a FRSky X4Rsb receiver which is tucked away in between the frames. The antennas then protrude through the cutouts in the frame and pass through the 45-degree antenna mount. To keep the antennas stable, wrap heat shrink tubing around the top of each one. Print both left and right sides for optimal antenna diversity. Pictures will be added shortly to illustrate this setup.
