Ledberg holders for Geeetech i3 aluminium
thingiverse
I hacked a set of IKEA Ledberg led bars to fit my printer perfectly. I decided to solder the connection between the bars, allowing them to navigate bends without printing socket connections, since I trust high-quality solder more than printed ones. I placed the LED bars on the backside of the frame, illuminating the print-bed for better visibility, although this creates a slight shadow right under the hot-end. Therefore, an extra LED near the nozzle is recommended if you want full illumination during the start of your prints. There are clips available for both the top and sides of the frame. If you find them too stiff, simply reduce their height to achieve the desired flexibility. On my profile, you can also find a plethora of other mods and improvements that I've designed specifically for the Geeetech printer.
