This stunning statue originated from the majestic Château de Valmer near Tours, a magnificent estate constructed by Thomas Bonneau, a respected crown official, in 1645. Purchased through the generosity of C. Michael Paul, Mary Cushing Fosburgh's bequest, and Irwin Untermyer's gift, this incredible object was acquired in exchange in 1980. This remarkable piece is part of "Scan The World," a groundbreaking initiative created by MyMiniFactory to build a comprehensive digital archive of fully printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the world, accessible for free to the public.
