16.2.2020 Update. I finally printed it and deleted old versions. The new version 3 features a larger wall box to accommodate the driver, and the mount is now in a separate file that you'll need to download separately along with the rest of the files. You'll also need to drill holes for fixing the light in the mounts (wall boxes) after printing. Now I'm working on the wiring, and I will post some pics when they're hung on the wall. 4.12.2019 Update: The design has been improved with more detailed curves on the side panels and a two times wider hole for the wiring to accommodate cable sizes around 2.5x5mm. Please download version 2 files. If you notice any other issues that I've missed, please leave them in the comments. This is an improvisation of a wall light I saw at a local appliance store. The reference number on the underside of the light on the wall doesn't seem to be correct, and I couldn't find the right model number from Massive. It looks like it might be an old model or perhaps one of the Horoz Belen models. There are left and right options available, designed like bedside lamps. The only difference is in the side cable routing, but you can also use one as both without anyone noticing. To assemble this project, you'll need: - 2x 10-12cm self-adhesive LED strip (I prefer 4000K) - You can find a suitable option on eBay at https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-5-10-50m-Neutral-White-4000K-LED-5050-Flexible-Strips-Light-SMD-SMT-60leds-M/392259721880?hash=item5b54805a98:m:mktx-YaqLHemc91pwvZvYnA - Around 30cm of thin wire that should go through the 3mm hole. - 2 small LED drivers that fit into the power box - You can find suitable options on eBay at https://www.ebay.com/itm/240V-LED-Driver-Power-Supply-Transformer-DC-12V-24V-6W-12W-30W-60W-Light-Weight/183479403020?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 - 4 bolts for the wall box fixation (4x60) + wall inserts. - 4 short bolts for fixing the lamps on to the wall boxes - You'll need to drill holes in them after printing. - A little bit of double-sided adhesive tape for fixing those LED drivers inside the wall boxes (this isn't strictly necessary).
