Create a realistic LED candle for Halloween decorations using natural white ABS, measuring 80 mm high and 75 mm in diameter. Purchase flickering LEDs and make an LED holder to mount the LED with a CR2032 3v coin battery, as no resistor is required for the 3-volt LED. The holder and LED also work on other 3D printed objects. Print the votive candle with 0 shells, .27 layer height, and 5% fill for transparency. For the LED holder, use 1 shell, .27 layer height, and 100% fill for strength. The holder is designed to be squeezed between two fingers to hold the battery and LED in place; remove the LED to turn off. Files created in Autodesk 123d are included for download on Thingiverse, marking the first uploaded object by the creator.
