This is a custom LED top mount LED box designed specifically for RC cars like the WLTOYS 12402-A. It utilizes four bright white LEDs connected through individual holes in the design. To assemble this project, you'll need to print four pieces and install four LEDs, along with soldering resistors and connecting wires. When it comes to printing parts, the front cover should be made using translucent PETG or PLA to allow for optimal LED visibility. The other components can be printed using either PETG or PLA. Mounting hardware includes two M2.6 screws measuring 8mm or 10mm in diameter. If you have a WLTOYS 12402-A RC car and possess the necessary LED components, this is an excellent DIY project to take on. It may also work with other RC cars, but its design specifically caters to the WLTOYS 12402-A model, ensuring it fits perfectly without requiring any drilling or damage to the vehicle's body.
