I have a few extra batteries on hand, so I've designed a compact flashlight using an Ultimaker 3D printer. The design is powered by nine high-quality LEDs that total 27 watts when running at a supply voltage of 10-30V DC. It consumes approximately 2 amps at 12 volts and produces an impressive light output of 2150 lumens from the single 12V, 20Ah battery I'm using. This is just a preliminary design, with additional details to follow once I've added more images and refined my ideas. Printing Details: * Printer: Ultimaker Original * Material Settings: + Layer Height: 0.1mm + Nozzle Size: 0.8mm + Print Bed Temperature: 100°C + Print Temperature: 250°C Post-Printing: The completed flashlight looks great, with smooth, evenly colored finishes and minimal warping. I used Cura version 15.04 to optimize the print settings.
