I designed this simple LED tail light/brake light assembly for a modified 36v electric scooter, leveraging my creative skills to bring it to life. I wired three 12v red LED strips in series to function properly on my 36v conversion, and anything that fits inside will work just fine. The outer diameter of the back housing measures 85mm x 55mm x 15mm, while the internal diameter measures 75mm x 45mm x 9mm. The lens itself measures 81mm x 51mm x 2mm. I chose to print the back housing in silver and the lens in translucent red. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2-.28 Infill: 30%-35% Notes: I printed the back housing at a resolution of .28, with a wall thickness of .8 and top/bottom thickness of .8. The infill was set to 35%. For the lens, I used a resolution of .2, with a wall thickness of .8 and top/bottom thickness of .6. A concentric infill pattern helped distribute the light evenly throughout.
