LED stripe mounting for Green House
thingiverse
This mountings were designed to hold a rectangular LED stripe bar in the gabled roof of my green house. I chose a rectangular 16mm / 0.63in aluminium bar to house the 8mm wide led stripe, because it shines down well onto my plants. At the end, there is only one hole in the green house profile, so the end cap is mounted with one metric screw and nut. The second hole is used, when mounting it on the opposite side. The bar holders in between are mounted with two hammer head screws, usually used for this type of green house profiles. It depends on the size of your green house, how many you'll need. As I used bars with 1m length, I needed three of them to get the full length. The connectors can be snapped over the bars from the back, for better stability. They fit not as tight, as you may expect, because I left room for some tape to fasten the two bars together - before snapping it over. Have fun!
