Led Stripe Mount for Bulb Lamp

Led Stripe Mount for Bulb Lamp

thingiverse

This project was born out of necessity after struggling to install lights in a printed Bulb Lamp. A creative solution emerged through brainstorming, resulting in a compact tower designed for 1cm width LED strips. The base of the tower was engineered to fit perfectly into the lower bulb part. To assemble the project, cut the LED strips to length and attach them to the tower. Next, solder the connections together using cables. A long cable (approximately 50cm) is then used to navigate through the holes in the parts (Base, Arm, and Bulb Base), which should be assembled beforehand. The cables easily pass through without requiring special tools, simply by applying gentle pressure until they emerge from the base. The tower can be secured in place either by gluing it into the lower bulb base or using the holes in the tower base for screws. Printer settings for this project include: Printer: BQ Hephestos 2 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 - 0.3mm Infill: 15-20% Post-printing, if you choose to secure the tower with screws, drill holes in the bulb base for them first. Mark the center of the tower base onto the bulb base and then drill holes that match the size of your chosen screws. If you prefer to glue the tower in place, do so after mounting the LED strips and routing cables through all parts. This should also be centered 100% for a secure fit. I designed this project with functionality and simplicity in mind, ensuring a seamless integration of lighting into the Bulb Lamp design.
