LED Strip round holder
thingiverse
I find that traditional adhesives are woefully inadequate for securing LED strips. Typically, I wrap strips onto a support with cotton string, but I wanted something I could print myself. This is just the first model I'm uploading, and I have numerous other designs to print and test before sharing them online, so stay tuned. This design holds a single element of 3 LEDs from a 5050 Strip. Simply slide it in place and attach the cap, then secure it with either a small amount of glue or a zip tie. If you want to stack them, add the little tube to the bottom hole, and it will connect to another cap. There's a through hole for wires and a perpendicular hole where you line up the ends of the strip to run the wires through. As always, make sure your 3D printing machine is properly calibrated. My test block and key can be found at Thing #3197458.
