To replace the old flashlight, I purchased an adhesive backed cool white SMD LED strip from Amazon. The strip can be cut every 3rd LED and soldered again. Five pieces were glued to a cardboard Z-Stage and a long LED strip was attached inside TOM's front plate. A PWM dimming control was printed a bracket for and installed on the unused Z-rod hole. Wires from the power supply were connected, but are still in disarray. The setup works well, but the cardboard could be replaced with a more rigid material, and additional LEDs may be added.
