LED Strip Light Paper Lamp

LED Strip Light Paper Lamp

I split an LED strip into four pieces, examining the third or fourth photo and inspecting the corners closely. Next, I connected some wires and wrapped heat shrink tube around the exposed ends before linking it to a battery pack. For added protection, I inserted a thin sheet of vellum paper through small slits at the top of the lamp, as seen in the second image. The filament used for the lamp is Hatchbox PLA Black. The dimensions required for the vellum insert are 5 1/8 x 7 1/8 inches, while the top section measures 5 1/8 x 5 1/8 inches. To successfully print this design, supports are necessary for both "LampBottom" and "LampTop". I recommend printing the top part upside down and the bottom part right side up. Conversely, "LampBottomLid" does not require any support. Removing the supports from the top section can be a laborious task due to the thin slits used for inserting paper. To simplify this process, I suggest using an exacto knife along with wire cutters. Additionally, I sanded down the outer parts that had supports on them to achieve a smooth finish. The final dimensions of the lamp are 6x6x10 inches.
