I decided to repurpose leftover materials from a previous project by modifying the T8 Led Lamp created by Walter to match an aluminum strip mount that had been set aside for another project. The LED housing, made of aluminum, features a diffuser that can be easily divided in half to create two separate lamps. A list of necessary parts, sourced from Amazon.com, is shown in the photo. Strip LED lights come in various colors. I ordered an AC-DC Converter 6/12/24V to 12V Full-bridge Rectifier to convert a 12volt AC adapter into DC power. The converter fit perfectly inside the base's opening, but I now see that 12VDC adapters are available for around $4 on Amazon, offering a more cost-effective solution and less work overall.
