LED strip holder for "wire shelfs"
thingiverse
I picked up some affordable LED-Strips with a USB cord from the gigantic online marketplace everybody knows. Since all my 3D printers are stored on those wire-shelves (if there's a better name for them, let me know) because I like having the spools one shelf above the printer and can easily route the filament through, I designed a bracket that clips onto the 5mm wire which holds each shelf. It can rotate and will stay in place just by clipping it onto the shelf - but just to be sure, I added some holes for 2.6mm zip ties (that's the standard size in 3D printers) to secure them - and no, you don't need a zip tie on each "foot". Each foot is 100mm long so you can simply print as many as you need for your LED strip length (as long as it's a multiple of 100mm). The cable should be secured with zip ties (the adhesive won't hold that much weight) on the side - see the picture. There are also two files with "end" in their name - those are for extending the opposite side of the cable 10/25mm more - just in case your LED strips are exactly x times 100mm.
With this file you will be able to print LED strip holder for "wire shelfs" with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on LED strip holder for "wire shelfs".
