# LED Strip holder for Comgrow enclosure ##by DAR01 This is a modular design to allow you to mount LED strip lights to the frame rails of a *Comgrow* 3D printer enclosure. Each module is 100mm in length and fits together with its neighbour using locating pegs at one end and locating holes at the other. The assembly is secured onto the enclosure frame with cable ties wrapped around the module and rail in the indents/channels provided. Make the assembly as long or short as you want by adding additional modules. The LED strip simply presses into the groove on the front with slight pressure. Instructions: - Print the required number of LED strip holder modules. - Clip modules onto the internal enclosure frame with the pegs on one locking into the holes on the next. - Press the LED strip into the channel using your thumb. Note: You generally do not need to remove the self-adhesive backing for these to fit securely. - Cut the LED strip as required (using the cutting points marked on it). - Secure the row of modules to the frame at the desired angle with cable/zip ties located in the provided channel. Note: You may only need to use cable ties at the extreme ends of the row of modules, not on every intermediate module. - Secure the wiring - There is a channel running between the frame tubing and the module to run wiring in to make it neat and tidy and hide the wiring if required. I used 24v LED strips so they could be wired into the printer power supply (via a switch) and operate when the printer is on only, but you could use a separate power supply if required: [24v LED Strip lights](https://amzn.eu/d/6YXKJ15) --- Note: The Comgrow 3D printer enclosure shown in the photos is a **[US4-GGHZP](https://amzn.eu/d/a27mpJk)** (635x535x750mm) for an Ender 3/3v2/CR20 but will fit any enclosure with the same basic frame structure and OD tubing (17.5mm); you will just need to print more or less holder modules to fix together to fill the length of tubing required. This will work on either the vertical or horizontal frame tubing.
