I designed the holder for the LED to have a cover because I needed one. The LED strip comes equipped with a support that features small connections which are simple to remove from the holder. I printed six parts of the holder to ensure it was sturdy. I also created a cable clip for attachment at my printer. I used this particular LED strip: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/bhPniFwZ. The LED strip is controlled by switching it on and off directly through my Raspberry Pi 3B+ using OctoPrint.
