A convenient LED strip stand for the MPCNC. When the room is dimly lit, this LED illuminates the work area sufficiently for the webcam to capture my projects clearly. The LED strip can be sourced from Banggood: 5.5W-56LED-COB-LED-Chip-450mA-WhiteWarm-White-For-DIY-DC-12V or 6W-76led-COB-LED-Chip-520mA-WhiteWarm-White-For-DIY-DC-12V. The aluminum base gets quite warm, reaching around 60C. To prevent the PLA printed parts from melting, I use double-sided tape and secure it with Kapton tape for extra stability. In the base, I have hexagon sockets that accommodate M8 nuts. These add weight to the base for added stability. The joint holes are designed for M3 bolts.
