I design a 3D printable LED stand for 4 or 5mm acrylic. I use an LED strip with a battery case, similar to this: https://www.action.com/de-de/p/led-leiste/. To secure the battery case, I employ self-adhesive Velcro straps. For attaching the acrylic, I apply Pattex Special adhesive. When working with 4mm acrylic, it's essential to use a cover that closes the gap between the print and the LED strip. This cover is slightly taller than the print itself. To achieve optimal results, I recommend printing with minimal support material.
