LED Spotlight with Diffuser

I liked the Par64 Spotlight by Domonoky, but I needed something even more compact. Note: This design was specifically tailored for use with this mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2881135 Changes made to the original part include: - The spotlight body has been significantly shortened. - A hole for LED wiring is now integrated into the spotlight body. - Functional vents replace decorative ones. - Standard M3 screws (accompanied by printed washers) are used to attach U-bracket. - All but one component can print without supports, with only a small amount of support needed for the U-bracket. New features added to the design include: - An LED Holder that accommodates seven 5mm LEDs. - A diffuser, best printed in "clear" or "natural" PLA. - A retaining ring that prevents the diffuser from falling out the front. Assembly Instructions: - Print one of each part except for the washers. - Print two additional washers. - Insert M3 screws of suitable length through the U-bracket's holes. - Place a washer on each M3 screw. - Position the spotlight body into the U-bracket, then secure it with tightened M3 screws (just enough to hold). LED Components Assembly: - Acquire seven 5mm, 12VDC LEDs prewired with resistors (http://a.co/bEdHRRG). - Insert seven 5mm LEDs into the LED holder and secure each one using a drop of CA glue. - Solder all LED anode leads together, then solder these to a +12V power lead. - Connect all LED cathode leads, then solder them to a ground power lead. - Feed the power leads through the large opening in the spotlight body, and out through the small hole at the rear. - Insert the LED + Holder bundle into the spotlight body and glue it into place, recessing it about 2mm. - Add the diffuser if printed, securing it by gluing the retaining ring into place. The spotlight shown was printed using brass PLA.
