This compact spot accommodates up to seven 5mm LEDs and features four connectors for constructing large-scale lighting setups. We utilize these spots in our mikrokopter project as they weigh under 40g each. Prior to printing, note that parts and holes may require sanding due to tight fits. Utilize a LED calculator (http://www.spaceflakes.de/led-rechner/) to determine the layout and resistor values based on your voltage (e.g., three parallel lines with 100, 220, 220 Ohm resistors for 12V). There are two connection methods available: either insert 3mm threads into each connector hole and use a printed M3 rod (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:31363) or glue with a small plastic stick. For customized LED sizes or quantities, design and print a tailored plate.
