LED Socket

LED Socket

myminifactory

This is a socket designed to cradle a 5mm LED and battery without compromising the leads' integrity. Insert the LED leads through the holes at the top of the socket, then guide them into position. Next, insert the battery through the hole at the bottom of the socket; it should fit snugly in place. If the bulb doesn't light up immediately, try flipping the battery over to see if that resolves the issue. Once the LED is lit, take a moment to bend the leads around the bottom of the socket and press them into the side grooves for safekeeping. This will keep the leads out of the way and prevent any potential damage. This particular setup utilizes a DL1025 or equivalent battery, which can be easily sourced from online retailers like Amazon. You can expect to pay approximately two dollars for one of these batteries.
