*_Hate the crazy bright lights?_* Not sure why the LEDs on this 'modem' have to be so bright. At night it lights up the whole room! So here's a quick shield to keep all those photons in check. Version 1 has holes and labels so you can easily see the status without being blinded. Version 2 is completely opaque. They hold on loosely, but securely. To remove, just slide it down the front, it will pop right off. I'm sure they fit similar models as well.
