LED Rubiks Cube
thingiverse
This is an LED cube that I programmed to scramble and solve itself like a Rubiks cube. The led strips are laid down in the wells that have been filled with hot glue to function as diffusion material. The leds are controlled by a NodeMCU which is hot glued inside of the cube and a website to change the pattern. The "lazy" version of the base is just running a usb cable straight into the cube, the V4 version has a spot to solder in a female microusb port so the cable is detachable, and an on/off switch. The hole cover is only needed for the lazy version. Also included is a single face stl if you wanted to do some testing or just have one face of this. Here are some videos of it in action: https://streamable.com/gx5hw6 https://streamable.com/0vol8c My bad code for it is here: http://bulk.hackervoiceim.in/led_cube.ino it includes a few other patterns that should "just work". You'll need to probably change a bunch of the code to get your LEDs mapped to work as a rubiks cube. Depends on FastLED and SSVQueueStackArray, both available in the arduino ide library browser.
With this file you will be able to print LED Rubiks Cube with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on LED Rubiks Cube.
