LED Rope Lights holder for Wrought Iron Fencing or Ground Staking
thingiverse
I remixed these so I could install an LED Rope around my pool, secured by Wrought Iron fencing on one side and staked into the ground on the other. The Led rope lights look fantastic and effectively deter rodents from jumping into the pool. Nothing is worse than emerging to go swimming and discovering floaters in the pool. This setup works wonderfully, reducing them to just one for the entire summer from about one a week. For the stakes, 7-inch galvanized nails are used. I obtained them at Lowe’s, which are approximately 5 mm in diameter. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Amerimax-Galvanized-Steel-Gutter-Spike-and-Ferrule/3033406 Installation is straightforward; simply clip the hooks onto the fence or pound them into the ground. I did use some cable ties to pull the rope tight after clipping it in, which gave it a very clean and tight professional appearance.
