This adapter is designed to attach directly to a SeeMeCNC Rostock MAX or Orion effector with no additional fasteners required except for some convenient zip ties. Its primary function is to elevate an LED ring from the bottom of the effector, thus preventing it from colliding with universal joints and causing potential issues such as "delta arm blues." (It also gives the LED ring a more polished appearance.) Once fitted, gently press upwards near the clips until the part is securely seated on the effector with no gaps remaining. IMPORTANT: Double-check that the adapter fits snugly in place, leaving no room for play or slop. While I've found it to fit perfectly on my machine using my calibration and a particular type of filament, this doesn't guarantee an ideal fit for every setup. A loose mount could cause serious damage during printing – mechanical, electrical, or even fire-related damage is possible. To add extra security, the adapter can be tied firmly to the effector. If you're using my E3D adapter to attach a hot end featuring a groovemount attachment from an E3D or similar manufacturer, take note that the snap adapter features three recesses designed to match this specific profile. This way, when installed correctly, it will maintain its shape without any bending issues. Once done, secure the LED ring to the mount using zip ties – a minimum of four is recommended and should be tightened securely. The wires will be compressed between the mount and the LED ring where they're soldered, effectively preventing potential work looseness over time that could cause failure.
