Easy way to mount a 60mm "Angel Eye" LED ring to Rostock Max v2. Simply fit tapered pins into empty holes on the platform for a secure connection. Before starting, scale your design to compensate for filament shrinkage - I used 102% scaling with ABS and achieved perfect results. Securely attach the ring using small pieces of double-stick tape (I use 3M VHB) applied directly to both the ring and the mount. In some cases, a cooling fan may interfere with the default fan nozzle; investigate alternative options if this is a concern. Acquire an "Angel Eye" board through Amazon (search for B007Q946RQ). Inspired by alextoff's magnetic plate design, I found it more convenient to attach the ring in a different way.
