I installed this LED ring for better illumination of my workspace. To power it, I added a HI-Link 12-volt module behind the cover plate. This module is connected directly to a standard 230-volt outlet. (Only attempt if you have technical expertise) There is a risk of electrocution due to electrical shock! Alternatively, any other 12-volt source can be used. The ring can be turned on and off using a mini-toggle switch. I quickly laser-cut a stencil for better visibility. It's ideal for marking hard-to-reach or curved surfaces.
