LED power supply case kit
thingiverse
It's a quite specific design but it may come in handy for someone. I designed it to fit a 400W 24v Led power supply and press-fit it on the tripod leg (then tightened up with machine screws) to power the studio light. The power supply is supposed to be installed while being inside it's original box with a bunch of vent holes cut in its sides. the laminated cardboard box provides good additional elemental protection and muffles the noise and coil whine. there are 1cm round holes on the bottom where rubber pads can be installed so that the case can stand stable on the floor when not mounted on a tripod. top part can be slid into place with small ON/OFF switches and female barrel connectors installed. Power connectors. Mains power cord can be routed through the hole at the bottom-left side, up the groove to the top to provide power to the PSUAngled slots at the sides mean that supports are not needed. No brim either. The only thing to keep in mind is that the side walls are 1.2mm thich which means ideally .4 or better - .6mm nozzle should be used. Layer height .2mm dimensions of the box: H: 22cm W: 12cm T: 5.5cm model can always be resized to fit other power supplies. *I apologize for the large main file size but i had to remesh the model to make it slice properly.
