LED Plinth (For Printed Statue Sculpture)

LED Plinth (For Printed Statue Sculpture)

I knocked together a quick plinth for a 3d printed Doctor Who weeping angle (found on thingiverse - ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:423574 ). The plinth has holes in the bottom sized for 1p coins to add weight and another hole to fit a 5mm white LED, a couple of resistors and some wires. There's a hole in the back for the wires to come out. I used 5 volts and an old USB cable for power. A 5mm LED with a suitable 100 ohm resistor will not use a lot of power at 5v nor generate much heat. The plinth could be used for other similar purposes.
