LED Nightlight with projector for toddlers room
thingiverse
This is a conceptual showcase. I created some initial, albeit flawed, designs for the basebox. A revised version might be uploaded later on. Additional features like Imagas could potentially be integrated at a future date. However, the projection turned out to be quite impressive after smoothing down the RGB LED to achieve an even light distribution. The projection box measures 60mm in height. A 30x70mm PCB can fit snugly into the PCB slot located at the bottom of the box. I built this nightlight to prevent the room from plunging into darkness when closing the door during winter months. The design allows for interchangeable caps, enabling different images to be projected onto the ceiling. I printed the box in white and the projection lid in black. This configuration enables most of the light to escape through the box while the lid produces a striking image of a helicopter on the ceiling, spanning approximately 2-2.5 meters across. If you decide to create your own custom projection lid, please share a link to it in the comments below. https://hackaday.io/project/15631-3d-printed-led-nightlight-ceiling-projector
