I created this LED matrix frame/housing for RGB LEDs from AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32791147331.html It can also fit matrices from other vendors. It fits perfectly to the LED matrix size which is 16cm x 16cm. I also added small cutouts for the SMD components. You can use paper or a thin printed plate to create a diffusor.
