LED Lights Glass Clips

LED Lights Glass Clips

I needed a simple system that wouldn't require taping, gluing, or drilling. I also wanted something that would hold up over time without collapsing. So, I came up with the idea of using clips to connect to the glass. Since I couldn't find anything similar on Thingiverse, I decided to create my first project. The central middle piece (LED Center Bar V4.STL) uses double-sided 3M tape for attachment. If it fails, the clips on both sides will prevent it from falling apart. The clips fit perfectly with .225in (.5mm) thick plexiglass. I can upload different sizes if anyone is using thinner glass for their enclosure. It should work just fine with thinner glass, as the top of the enclosure will hold it in place. The railing prevents gaps that might occur between the clips and adds a nice look to the design. Plus, it hides any blemishes caused by cutting the glass. I used 12 LED clips, 12 railings, and 2 center LED bar holders for the complete set.
