LED Lighting Mount

LED Lighting Mount

thingiverse

My first model made entirely from scratch, this DIY mount system clips securely onto either side of the Printrite or Colido 3D printer's head. Five 5.5mm LED slots per part add up to ten total openings for custom lighting setups. Assembling the LEDs requires personal attention to their specific voltage and current needs, along with matching power supply specifications. My high-intensity white LEDs demand a forward voltage of 3.2V, so each side has three in series and two in series, all paired with resistors calculated for 20mA. Print Settings Printer: Printrite DIY with Ramps1.4 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 25% Notes: I had to drill out the 5.5mm holes for LED insertion, likely due to bridging during printing; higher resolution might resolve this issue too.
