LED Lighting Holder for Neva/Magis Head This modelling is the result of a longstanding project, preceded by a circular version, but which could in some cases pose problems. This lighting support is available in 2 versions, with (WITH) or without (WITHOUT) LED strip mounting plates, so that it can be adapted according to requirements. Its strong point is the absence of fixing means (screws, glue...) because it fits directly under the head, one of the corners of which acts as a locking clip. It can therefore be removed as easily as it was clipped on, without leaving the slightest trace. My version is equipped with 2 boards of 6 SMD LEDs each (12 in total), powered in 5V. They are fixed with a powerful double-sided, but could be glued as well. Their origin comes from a recovery of Dymond brand USB lighting hoses sold in pairs in "Action" stores for 1.29€, each producing a maximum light intensity of 70 Lumens. They are wired in parallel and the 5VDC incoming wires are passed through the sheath with the other wires (heating cartridge, temperature sensor, fan and PTFE tube above). At their end, a USB connector allows the light to be powered from a small AC/USB charger (1 Amp is more than enough).
