Using a 12v LED strip lighting from his nephew, the individual was able to print at night without having to switch on the room light. The lighting was installed by zip-tying it to the existing wires and attaching brackets onto the extruder carriage. Although Makerbot lights are considered cool, this person found them inadequate for seeing under the extruder when a print began.
