LED Lighthouse Project - Preliminary

thingiverse

This is a project in development to craft an Arduino-powered LED sweeping digital light for my 4-foot decorative lighthouse. The LED housing and electronics casing will be created through 3D printing. Initial progress can be seen at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfydR_MFtuU I have started drafting an Instructable with step-by-step guides and Arduino code, accessible at http://www.instructables.com/id/LED-Lighthouse-Light-Preliminary-Work/. The 12V LED light array was repurposed from a cut up RadioShack weatherproof LED strip purchased on clearance (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=22128516). Electronics control is provided by an Arduino microcontroller.
