Update 05-16-16: Created a second Skeletonized version which has an extra bracer bar on the back so it's a bit more durable, although probably not needed depending on application. Update 05-15-16: Printed off the Skeletonized version with 15% infill and no supports and it came out great! Pic added of the print resting in my hand using Glow in the Dark PLA Filament. Update 02-11-16: Added a Skeletonized version for quicker printing. May print about 50% faster that the full one. Haven't printed one off yet so not sure how well it will work. Will update when I do print one. Basically a mounting platform for 4 strips of LED Light Strips to make your own LED Light Bars or Workshop Lights. It's scaled to about 50mm in length which was the length of the 3LED strips cutting points. So you can print it as many times as you want, or scale out the length for longer strips of lights. I printed one off and wired up four strips to show what it should look like when you build and mount the light strips to it. The plan is to make some LED Lightbars to mount on the ceiling of my garage to replace the aging Fluorescent Tube fixtures. Feel free to adjust the Z-Axis as you see fit to get the length you need, but most LED Light Strips I have seen adhere to the 3LED's before a break you can cut with scissors at 50mm in length. The light strips I used are 5050SMD White LEDs from Amazon. Printed on a Printrbot Simple Metal using Hatchbox Silver PLA. Printed at 0.3mm and 15% infill which makes it extremely solid, but it could probably be done with less infill. This is my first 3D Design ever. I literally created this about an hour after downloading Sketchup, so go easy on me! I also am working on a 7 strip version which would make out quite the bright light, as well as coupling tabs to snap multiple prints together, but I'm still learning with the modeling software how to really make that work.
