These sturdy arms hold a touch-sensitive LED light strip securely above the Prusa I3 printer, carefully positioning it approximately 8 inches from the Z plate and 10 inches off of the print bed, providing exceptional illumination for the printer. The design should work seamlessly with any Original Prusa I3 printers featuring metal Z plates. However, please note that if either the Z plate thickness or the height of the rail bearing the "PRUSA" logo has changed on your printer, you'll need to inform me so I can adjust my models accordingly. For this project, I used a light strip purchased from Fry's Electronics: https://www.frys.com/product/9400631. Please be aware that these arms will only function properly if you have an LED light with the same body shape as mine.
