LED Light Strip Dimmer Connections Housing and Conduit
thingiverse
This enclosure serves as an essential addition to a widely used dimmer for LED strip lights, ensuring safe and convenient operation. In my setup, the dimmer is discreetly mounted on the underside of a cabinet above a work surface, while the power supply remains out of sight on the topside. I designed this enclosure specifically to protect wire connections from accidental bumping when reaching for the dimmer knob in the dark. To maintain a neat and organized workspace, I integrated a rigid spiral conduit to route cables back to the rear underside of the cabinet. This solution offers a visually appealing alternative to traditional wire clamps nailed directly to the cabinet. If future cabling needs arise, the spiral opening allows for easy insertion of new cables. The custom-built conduit measures 27cm in length and features an outer diameter of 2cm, providing ample space for cable management while minimizing visual clutter.
