LED light mount

I decided to discard my LED strip found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8712 due to its poor performance. Either I miscalculated the size of the LEDs or they were of inferior quality, as their brightness gradually diminished over a few days. Last weekend, I purchased a 64 LED headlamp that operates on 3 x 1.5V AA batteries. Soon, I plan to connect wires to the battery holder to power it from an alternative source. The forehead pad, which also secures the head strap with three small screws, holds the light unit in place for me. I designed a mounting that can be screwed into its position using these same screws. The light's base can swivel vertically, and this movement is facilitated by a swivel mount that attaches to the "frame mounting." In my case, I designed the frame mount to be attached to the dowel uprights of my filament spool holder at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8924.
