Led Light Holder

Here's a simple LED light designed specifically for the Simple 2014 extruder with a wooden body. It clips onto the tensioner on the extruder head, providing a sleek and organized look. To attach this LED light to your Simple 2014, you'll need to secure it onto the tensioner. The LED lights themselves pop up from the bottom of the clip, allowing for easy viewing. A small trench runs along the back of the clip to hold the LED wires and resistors in place; simply solder them in for a sturdy connection. Supply wires have their own designated slot on one side, which can be easily connected to a power source. In my setup, I use a 12V supply to keep things running smoothly. My specific LEDs are white with a forward voltage of 3.3 and a current draw of 20mA each. With three of these LEDs in place, it's recommended that you use a 120ohm resistor for optimal performance. If your LED values differ, I recommend checking out this handy website - led.linear1.org/led.wiz - which provides all the necessary calculations to find the right resistance value for your needs. For added strength and stability, this design is printed at an angle in key areas. This will give you peace of mind knowing that your Simple 2014 is looking good while running smoothly.
